What it takes to take the next step

On May 15, 2024, several 8th-grade students from Bayfield Middle School met with Fort Lewis College Athletic Director Travis Whipple to learn about college athletics and how students can best prepare themselves for the possibility of playing sports after high school.

Graduation and Continuation Are Here!

Seniors at Bayfield High School completed the final day of their high school career on Wednesday, and their sites are now firmly set on Sunday’s graduation ceremony — and the 8th graders at Bayfield Middle School have a big day on the way too!

Welcome to Bayfield Middle School

Bayfield Middle School offers students in sixth through eighth grade the opportunity to challenge themselves in the humanities and math/sciences. At the same time, the school understands the value of exploring music, art, career and technical education, and other electives. Students can explore Drama, Wood Shop, Robotics, Junior Police Academy, Science Fair, and more. Athletics and school extracurricular activities complete a well-rounded experience for Bayfield area students.
