Welcome to BMS 6th Grade!

The sixth-grade team’s main goals for our students are to make them advocate for themselves and take ownership of their own learning. As a platform for this, we expect our students to know and be able to access grades and homework. We use sixth grade as a way to transition them into the middle school setting as smoothly as possible. We strongly encourage students to communicate with their parents and ask that the parents provide their children with the opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge.

The following information will help students and parents stay connected with grades and homework. Sixth-grade students are expected to fill out a planner every day listing the tasks completed in class along with the homework requirements.
