🚌 Trip Overview
Students in Honors ELA will visit Wolfwood Refuge to deepen their understanding of themes from Call of the Wild. The trip will explore how instinct and environment influence behavior—connecting literature with real-life experiences, observing rescued wolves.
🧠 Curriculum Connection
This trip supports the ELA Honors Unit: Call of the Wild.
Students will:
Explore instincts and survival themes.
Make real-world connections to character and animal behavior.
Enrich their analytical and discussion skills through observation.
🥪 Meals
Sack lunches will be provided.
Students should bring a water bottle and any personal snacks if desired.
Please indicate if your child should NOT receive a school lunch on the permission slip.

Families will receive information by October 30, 2025.
Forms can be returned to your child’s advisory teacher.
