Time: Depart 8:00 AM | Return around 2:00 – 2:30 PM
Trip Leaders: Mr. Erickson, Mr. Bloom, and Ms. Pribble

🪶Purpose of the Trip

Students will visit the SouthernUte Cultural Center and Museum to explore the rich heritage, traditions,and history of the Ute people. This experience supports our Historycurriculum and helps students build cultural understanding and appreciationfor Indigenous communities.

🍱 Meals

• Sack lunches: Students will need to bring or request a sack lunch.
• School lunches: 15 sack lunches will be provided for those who need them.
• No-lunch list: 40 students total; 10 will not receive a school lunch that day.
• Students may also bring snacks for the trip.

💵 Cost & Money

• No money is required for this trip.

🧳What to Bring

• A sack lunch (if not receiving one from school)
• Water bottle and snacks
• Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing

📝 Permission Slips

• Permission slips will be sent home and due by Monday, November 10, 2025.
• Families will also receive digital copies for convenience.
• Please return signed slips to your student’s advisory teacher by the deadline.

👩‍🏫 Supervision

Chaperones: Mr. Erickson, Mr. Bloom,and Ms. Pribble
(Substitute teachers will cover regular classes while staff attend.)
