Oct. 26 - Concert Reflection

This is worth the remaining 25 points for your concert grade. EVERYONE is required to fill this out, even if you weren't at the concert.

Make sure you've watched the concert recording FIRST. If the link didn't work, we'll watch it together when I'm back.

You must use at least ONE COMPLETE SENTENCE per short-answer question. Use your spell-check on your computer. Make sure I can read and understand your answers.

Cop-out answers (text speak like IDK and IDC, no, none, N/A, etc.) will NOT count for credit.

10/20 - Recorded Assignment in Google Classroom

10/20 - Recorded Assignment

Make sure you've read today's announcement in the stream before completing this assignment.

You will record two separate videos today of your progress and preparation for the concert.

First, you will record EE#23.
Second, you will record a tune of your choice that we are performing for the concert. You may not record EE#14 as you've already performed it for a quiz. Your choices are here:
18
22
24 (record BOTH A and B lines by yourself)
25
30 (if you feel confident and ready - note the new note!)
I need to know which tune you've chosen in your video. You may do ONE of these options:
Rename your videos to "EE#__" (insert the number of tune in the blank)
Tell me in your video which tune you're playing
Leave a private comment on your videos.
Submit your two videos to THIS assignment here. I've uploaded a tutorial document here in GC on how to do this. It's also taped to the screen at the front of the room (do not remove that paper).

Videos are due today. You will NOT have class time to complete this assignment. Our concert is next week!

Due:

8/30 - TIMED Note-Naming Checkpoint in Google Classroom

8/30 - TIMED Note-Naming Checkpoint

You choose your score on this assignment! Let me explain...
This is just like yesterday's note-naming activity, however it is timed. Use the link attached here (not yesterday's). You'll have one minute to identify as many notes as quickly as possibly can. You can "redo" this assignment however many times as you need today. Whatever percentage you turn in is the percentage on the assignment you get. (For example, you submit a 65%? You get a 6.5/10 on the assignment.)

Hint: take a screenshot each time you complete a round.

Submit your best screenshot (including your entire screen) for credit. DO NOT crop or edit your screenshot.

Due:

8/29 - Note-Naming Checkpoint in Google Classroom

8/29 - Note-Naming Checkpoint

Access the link below. Your task is to name notes with a 95% accuracy (the percentage at the top of the screen) and AT LEAST 20 notes named. Remember, you can always reset your score. You will get full credit for turning in 95% accuracy. Any percentage lower will result in a lower score.

You will take a screenshot of your ENTIRE screen, including your score, and upload it to this assignment. If you need help with this step, you may ask a friend. (Press CTRL + top row, middle button with the rectangle and two lines button). This will save your screenshot to your files. No need to crop or adjust the screenshot.

This is due at the end of class TODAY.
